(serve 2 )
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese / Gruyère cheese
4 slices of ham
2 large eggs
4 slices of white bread
1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Once the butter is melted, whisk in flour and cook roux, whisking for about 1 to 2 minutes butter becomes solid. Whisk in milk and bring to boil, whisking constantly. Reduce hit and simmer.
2. Spread the sauce evenly over the bread then sprinkle evenly with cheese.
Insert the ham in between two slices of bread.
3. Heat oven to 120°C and bake the sandwich for about 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
